The VLR series rotary washing screens are robust machines that are also used in the subsequent washing phase, both to clean sand and gravel in the case of crushing, and to clean up contaminants in the case of environmental treatments.
Water is introduced through a piping system and is then discharged with all the impurities. During the washing the material gets rid of the impurities, it is taken from special perforated metal buckets then is further washed in a second washing chamber where, thanks to the addition of fresh water and perforated plates, it is screened out.
The selection cylinder rests on a sturdy metal base and two sets of tyres and a balance wheel to ensure balancing.
